Feed My Starving Children
Feed My Starving Children is committed to feeding God's children who are hungry in body and spirit. Good Shepherd frequently sends teams to their local facility in Aurora to participate in preparing meals that impact hunger worldwide.
Good Shepherd has also held packing events in our Activity Center. Our last event was teaming with activity as 1,350 people packed over 300,000 nutritious meals for hungry children in Haiti. The meals were sent off with prayers asking that God would direct them to where they were needed most. Student Ministries played a big role in the packing effort. Our SPARKS children contributed by replacing the candy in tubes of M&Ms with quarters. Each filled tube held enough quarters to feed 93 starving children.
