FUEL (Junior High)
FUEL features several activities throughout the year for our Junior High students and their families. All FUEL activities are open to any student in 6th-8th grade and friends are always invited.
Sunday Mornings @ 9:30 a.m.
Students discuss relevant life issues as they delve deeper into the Bible to connect with God.
Sunday Night Ministry
Anyone in 6th-8th grade is welcome to attend FUEL. Members from other churches or those who don't have a church find this an inviting ministry.
During the school year, FUEL meets from 6:30-8:00 on Sunday evening. Students arrive at 6:30pm for a rockin' worship and Bible message. Then spend time connecting and growing in small groups. The evening ends with an emphasis on fun and fellowship.
This ministry partners with parents for the spiritual growth of students. While students are at FUEL, parents join together for fellowship, support and information that promotes raising healthy, successful adolescents.
Our Fall Bash will be on Sunday, September 12th at 6:30pm. Watch for more information.
Worship Leading Team
Vocalists and instrumentalists practice from 5:30-6:30pm on Thursday nights. They share their love for God by using their gifts in the community and at select worship experiences.
Winter Get-Away
Join in a weekend full of amazing worship, dynamic teaching and a chance to invite friends. This year's winter retreat will be on January 14-16, 2011 at Covenant Harbor.
Eternal Impact
In the summer, FUEL takes a break, but we gather in late June for Eternal Impact. Invite friends for 4 nights of food, fun and messages sharing God’s plan for our salvation. The young adults at Good Shepherd plan and put on this event each year for students who will be in 6th-8th grade in the fall. Get more info.
