I want my faith to grow

FUEL (Junior High)

FUEL features several activities throughout the year for our 6th-8th grade students and their families. All FUEL activities are open to any student in 6th-8th grade and friends are always invited.

Sunday Night Ministry

Anyone in 6th-8th grade is welcome to attend FUEL.  Registration forms for FUEL can be download here.  Members from other churches or those who don't have a church find this an inviting ministry opportunity. Invite a friend and download a permission form for their parent to sign.

FUEL meets during the school year from 6:30-8:15pm on Sunday evening. Students arrive at 6:30pm for a rockin' worship and Bible message in the new Worship Center, enter Door C. Then spend time connecting and growing in small groups. The evening ends with an emphasis on fun and fellowship.

Student Ministries will meet on Sunday, January 15th following our Winter Retreat.  The teachings will be from Matthew 4:1-11 on the Temptation of Jesus.  We hope to ReConnect with everyone then.

This ministry partners with parents for the spiritual growth of students. While students are at FUEL, parents join together for fellowship, support and information that promotes raising healthy, successful adolescents.

Winter Get-Away

Join in a weekend full of amazing worship, dynamic teaching and a chance to invite friends. This year's winter retreat will be January 13-15 at Covenant Harbor.   Winter Retreat is currently full with over 70 students and leaders scheduled to go.

Worship Leading Team

Students in 6th-8th grade with an interest in music are welcome to join our Worship Leading team. Please let us know if you are interested in joining this ministry. Come from 5:15-6:00pm on Sunday nights and share your love for God by using your gifts in His community.

FUEL Fun Fridays

FUEL Fun Fridays are an evening to come together and have some fun with other middle school friends here at church. Our Fun Fridays involve games, food and worship. Join us from 7-9pm, enter Door D.

January 27, March 16 & April 20

Student Leaders

Leadership opportunities and the opportunity to help plan events for FUEL, take place at monthly meetings, usually on the first Friday of the month.  Our next meeting will be January 20.  For those that are interested, please contact Donna Wandke for additional information and dates.

Mission Trip/Workcamp

Each year 8th-12th grade students take time out of their busy schedules to help others through local and out-of-state projects such as summer workcamp. For Workcamp 2012 we will be going to Greenville, MI from July 22-July 28.

If you are intersted in going to Workcamp, download the registration form and return with your deposit.

Believing God - Adult Bible Study

Parents, come grow in your faith at the same time your students are engaged in FUEL or IGNITE.  Starting Sunday,  January 8th from 6:45-8:15pm, join others in viewing a DVD from the humorous, powerful and passionate teacher, Beth Moore.  Did you know there is a difference between believing in God and believing God?  Walk away believing God is who He says He is and God can do what He says He can do.

Dodgin'4Dough

Thank you for another fabulous tournament. This year we had 77 teams, with 20 teams of middle school students competing. We appreciate your support and enthusiasm for the event.

FOUND Retreat

God has FOUND you! Have you FOUND God? The “FOUND” Retreat, was held on October 14-15. This overnight retreat is designed by Student Leaders for all students whether you are currently involved in FUEL or not. The message will focus on God’s Guidance. We will have time for worship, sharing God experiences, food, games, movies, and music. Don’t miss this huge highlight of the FUEL year.

Eternal Impact

In the summer, FUEL takes a break, but we gather in late June for Eternal Impact.   Eternal Impact 2012 will meet from June 25-28 from 6-9pm.  Watch for more information in early 2012.

For summer 2011, Eternal Impact met from June 27-30th.  This years theme was "Wide Angle Vision" and the teachings were centered around "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God." Matthew 5:8.
