IGNITE is Good Shepherd's high school ministry and includes our Faith Walk Journey that leads to confirmation. But that's just the beginning...
Sunday Mornings @ 9:30 a.m.
Join us this summer at 9:30am in Room 119 for a special study called "Life Hurts - God Heals." If you feel overwhelmed by how hard life is and wish you had some sort of support, this study is for you! This will continue through, Sunday, August 8th.
Sunday Nights
During the school year, join us on Sunday nights from 6:30—8:00pm to hang out with friends, play games and chat. Together we will take a look at relevant issues and see how God can be a part of our daily lives. Our Fall Bash will be on Sunday, September 12th.
Worship Leading Team
Vocalists and instrumentalists practice at 5:00pm on Sunday nights. They share their love for God by using their gifts in the community and at select worship experiences.
LIFE Groups
Groups meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings to discuss issues that relate to their daily lives—find a group that works for you.
Faith Walk Journey & DELTA
Faith Walk Journey is our 9th graders' time with the pastors before their confirmation. Anyone else who would like to be confirmed can be a part of this journey. This journey leads to the Delta retreat, put on by our 10-12th graders. Many have found this to be a life changing experience. FaithWalk will start on September 19th at 4:30. Delta will be on November 19-20, with Confirmation on February 26, 2011.
Winter Get-Away
Each year we offer an opportunity for students to have a fun time in the snow with friends. This year we will be going to Covenant Harbor on February 18-20, 2011
Service Projects
Each year students take time out of their busy schedules to help others though local and out-of-state projects such as summer work camp.
