Stephen Ministry
The Stephen Ministry offers one-to-one Christian care and support to people encountering difficult circumstances. Stephen Ministry is "Christ caring for people through people" and grounded in Jesus' command to love one another.
This compassionate ministry recognizes that everyone experiences difficult times and that having someone to care, listen, and share God's love can help them work through the stress and loneliness that they may be experiencing.
Those who feel called to minister God's love as a Stephen Minister are commissioned after receiving training in caring ministry skills and concepts. They visit a person in need regularly and confidentially to offer Christian support and care. Stephen Ministers receive ongoing support and supervision through the guidance of Stephen leaders.
