Eternal Impact 2022 Recap

From Max Schiewe, Summer Middle School Ministry Leader

For the first time since 2019, Eternal Impact was held IN-PERSON! The weeklong summer camp was held from June 6-10, and we saw the Lord move in amazing ways. These awesome kids were able to form connections and glorify God through their favorite activities, worship Jesus together, and hear messages about how they are DISTINCT people created anew by a DISTINCT God. The week also featured a day of serving, where students learned the importance of giving back to others and contributed 250 man-hours of labor to much-needed projects at Marie Wilkinson Food Pantry in Aurora, IL. Dozens of leaders; adults along with current high school and college students alike, gave their time to make this week fun, intentional, and impactful. Praise God for such a loving community!

We’re not done spending nights in faith and fellowship. We want students and leaders to stay plugged in! This season, summer FUEL is going to be happening EVERY week – Thursday nights from 7 – 8:30 pm (either out back or in the youth room, depending on weather). We’ll have bonfires, games, unplugged worship, and a series on Jesus’ seven “I am” statements from the book of John. We would LOVE to see your middle schoolers there, and would encourage them to bring their friends too!
