May the Master pour on the love so it fills your lives and splashes over on everyone around you, just as it does from us to you.

The Holy Spirit is sparking an explosion of love in our world and invites us to be a part of the action! On Pentecost, Pastor PJ challenged us with three ways to put our love into action.

One of those opportunities included partnering with Loaves & Fishes to assemble care bags for families in need and homebound seniors. Included was shampoo, lotion, deodorant, toothbrush and toothpaste. As a practice, food pantries do not distribute personal care products, so this was a great way to partner with Loaves & Fishes to help supply basic needs for those in our community.

The Holy Spirit did indeed spark an explosion of compassion as we collected nearly three hundred personal care bags in just three days! Thank you Good Shepherd for your generosity!

Because of you, Good Shepherd was able to be God’s love in action! We participated at three separate Loaves & Fishes scheduled food distributions to hand out personal care items to both home bound seniors and families in need. What a privilege to serve our community in this way!

 And all the believers lived in a wonderful harmony, holding everything in common. They sold whatever they owned and pooled their resources so that each person’s need was met. Acts 2:43-45 (msg)
