Dear Good Shepherd Family,

It is with GREAT joy that I share exciting updates for our Family Life Ministries team!

I am so grateful for your partnership as we have been navigating this season of change together and have waited patiently for God to lead us forward. Thanks for your prayers, encouragement, and presence with us as we have continued to gather and worship together. You have been great reminders of the power of God’s work through God’s people! 

Here’s what’s going on with our Family Life staff at Good Shepherd…

High School Ministry

Join us in warmly welcoming our NEW HIGH SCHOOL MINISTRY LEADER, Collin Puckett! Collin and his wife have been married since January 2021 and are moving to Naperville from Frankfort, Illinois. Collin has been involved in ministry in various roles since high school. For the past 3 years, he has been involved in full-time camp ministry. Collin is very excited to be a part of Good Shepherd and the high school ministry. He is a very big marvel comics fan, and his favorite character is Captain America.

Family Life Intern

Another addition to our team is our NEW FAMILY LIFE MINISTRIES INTERN, Jon O’Toole! Jon has been serving as a volunteer with Fuel over the last two years and has been discerning a call to youth ministry. We are excited to work with Jon as he develops ministry skills and passionately serves our kids and youth at Good Shepherd. Jon will be working with the Family Life team to support ministries at all ages.

Middle School Ministry

Additionally, you’ll see familiar faces in new places… Jenn Anderson is now the CLUB 45 AND MIDDLE SCHOOL MINISTRY COORDINATOR! Jenn will be taking over all things middle school and Club 45, including Tuesday and Thursday nights as well as special events like Winter Camp and the Half Nighter. She is excited to continue to grow and learn with all our preteens!

Children’s Ministries

Lily Raineri is now the CHILDREN’S MINISTRY COORDINATOR! Lily will be leading Sparks on Sunday mornings, our Baptism and Communion faith milestones, and Childcare. She is looking forward to continuing to get to know our families and helping kids learn more about God’s big story! 

Administrative

Anne Sedore is carrying on her administrative support across all our ministries! She’s a great first person to contact if you need to reach any of us or have general questions about anything going on in Family Life. And of course, Family Life continues to work in close partnership with our Disability Ministry team of Danielle Schaeffer and Audrey Gerhard!

Praise God for all these new developments! We praise him for new passions, new team members, and a fresh wind stirring in our Family Life Ministries team. We are excitedly anticipating what God is going to continue to do through this awesome team!
