Encounter Christmas XIII was a massive team effort. Our Campus Tech Coordinator, Andrew Dewar, had the vision to incorporate cutting-edge spatial audio and make Encounter Christmas the FIRST EVER immersive sound music experience in the Chicagoland area.

With Andrew’s strong vision and the help of our amazing sound engineers, Brian Rutter and Kevin Michaels, those who attended in person were able to be enveloped by the voices, instrumentation, and message and experience Encounter Christmas in a way it’s never been experienced before.

Using in-ear monitors, the band and vocalists weren’t able to hear what it sounded like for those in the room. Check out LJ’s reaction when she listened to a playback of the immersive sound for the first time.
