Hello, we’re so glad you’re interested in exploring Good Shepherd!  No matter where you are on your faith journey, we want you to know that YOU matter here. Good Shepherd is a loving, uplifting community, and we hope you’ll stop by and see what we’re all about.

What to Expect Plan Your Visit

Upon Entering

We are located at 1310 Shepherd Drive Naperville, IL 60565. You may enter any of the three primary entrances for weekend services. Upon entering our church, you will be greeted by our welcome team. Depending on your needs, they may direct you to our Connect Center, located right inside the main entrance (follow the signs). They can also help you find our worship spaces, restrooms, children’s check in, or your morning cup ‘o joe!

What to Wear

We want you to feel comfortable while here, so please feel free to dress however you like. Some dress casually; you’ll see some folks in shorts or jeans. Others prefer to be more dressed up in collared shirts, pants, and dresses. Come as you are, and be yourself!

Connect for Coffee

New visitors may fill out a connect card, which you will find in the seat backs in each worship space. Submit your card at the Connect Center and enjoy a free hand-crafted beverage from the Cornerstone Cafe!

Kids and Families Plan Your Visit

Birth - 5th grade

On Sunday mornings during 9:29/9:30am and 11/11:01am services, we invite kids to join us in Children’s Ministries. On your first visit, please arrive 15 minutes prior to service to allow time for children to be placed in a group for the day. They will meet new friends, enjoy activities, and learn about Jesus in a safe, creative, loving environment. You will be given instructions on how to pick up your children once services are over.

Special Needs

Our Fusion ministry is available for all children’s and student ministry opportunities. Our goal is for all children and students to successfully participate in all ministries with their peers. We welcome you to make arrangements to speak directly with our Fusion Director prior to your visit.

Students 6th grade - high school

Worship Services Plan Your Visit
At every service, we sing 3 or 4 worship songs together. We invite you to join in—not because God needs it, but because there’s something so powerful about joining our voices in worship to God together. The teaching team, with both male and female voices, rotates within the two worship spaces. Sermons are usually about 25-30 minutes long. Communion is received every weekend. A blessing is also offered if you are not ready to receive communion.

Worship Styles

Contemporary - Worship Center Saturday 5:05pm, Sunday 9:29am & 11:01am

In the Worship Center, our casual contemporary worship services deliver the message of Jesus Christ in an engaging multi-media format. Worship music is led by eleven eleven, a full contemporary Christian band. Their music is a mixture of current praise and worship songs, as well as original compositions.

Traditional - Sanctuary Sunday 8am & 9:30am

Traditional worship services are held in the Sanctuary. Liturgical readings are delivered by members of the congregation; the pastor shares a message which connects the enduring lessons of Jesus Christ to today’s environment. Prayer requests are lifted up together as a congregation. The music includes time-honored hymns led by the organ, sacred vocal solos and/or the Festival Choir.
