New Events and Ministries in 2023
This Fall, we are kicking off a new year of ministries, group life, and events. Whether you are brand new to our church or have been a member for years, we invite you to be a part of what Good Shepherd has to offer!
Week of Sept 10 | Family Life Kickoff
This week, our Family Life ministries will start their weekly events. We have something for all children and students grades 4-12.

Sept 12 | Women’s Bible Study
All women are welcome to join us for weekly bible study. Our theme is “Refreshing God’s Story” and will feature guest speaker Jill Fecht. This study runs September 12 – December 5 from 9:30-11:30am. Please register by August 25th.
Sept 20 | 55+ Fire Pit Event
Grab your favorite camping chair and join us out back at the fire pit starting at 3:00pm. We will be serving hotdogs and smores!
Oct 1 | “For Our World” Kit Packing
Join us after services to pack kits for Ukranian refugees.
Oct 13-15 | Women’s Fall Retreat
Join us at Loyola University Retreat and Ecology Campus (LUREC) from Friday, October 13 at 5:30 PM to Sunday, October 15 at 11:00 AM for a weekend retreat with author and speaker Jane Rubietta.
Oct 20| Marriage Ministry Chili Cook-off
Block your calendars for a “hot” date night with your spouse, depending on how spicy you like your chili! Marriage Ministry is hosting its 4th Annual Chili Cook-Off night! Bring your best chili recipe OR just come to enjoy the good food and fellowship with other couples.
Oct 25 | 55+ Soup ‘N Serve
Join us for our Soup ’N Serve fellowship gathering, and get an early start on the holiday season of sharing our love with others. We will enjoy a bowl of soup or chili and dessert, and spend some time writing cards for each resident of Dupage Care Center.
