Chapel Night is a time for Purposeful Silence, Reflection and Intentional Prayer. On the First Monday of every month, the Sanctuary will be open from 5pm to 8pm for a chapel-like experience. This is an opportunity to have a new experience at Good Shepherd, for you to know there is a designated place and time that you can be alone with God and connect through prayer and personal reflection without being guided or prompted.

The idea for Chapel Night grew from Good Shepherd’s first Core Value, “Prayer is Intentional”. First Monday signifies the first day of the week and the first week of the month. With intended simplicity, you will find the Sanctuary lights dim and there will be no music or message. Candles and Prayer Cards will be available as an interactive prayer aspect of the night. Light a candle for yourself or a loved one. Write a prayer request or praise and it will be lifted up and prayed over. This is an invitation for ALL, to come as you are, stay as long as you like, and be still in God’s presence.

Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction and faithful in prayer.
