Good Shepherd has been our family’s church home since 1989. Mark and I were searching for a church in which to raise our future family. After that first visit, we knew that Good Shepherd was what we were searching for!
I graduated from the University of Illinois (where I met my husband Mark) with a degree in Accounting, and DePaul University with a masters in Marketing. These skills were put to use as a project manager for AT&T’s computer division for almost 20 years. During that time I served in many roles at Good Shepherd, including handling the finances (before it was a staff position), children’s and student ministries, CRHP, small group leader, council, CFO, etc. That was all in preparation for my current role at Good Shepherd as Director of Finance!
Mark and I have three children, Jeremy (Gillian), Rachael (Matt) and Elizabeth (A.J.), all married within the past few years. We are forever grateful to our Good Shepherd family who had such a deep influence on our family, and provided the best place for our kids (and us!) to grow up and develop a deep rooted faith. When our kids visit Good Shepherd with their spouses, the spouses are always impressed by the connections our kids still have and how welcome they feel.
Mark and I live in Naperville. We enjoy concerts, cheering on the Illini, or watching a sunset at our farm just west of here. In my free time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, biking, reading, sports and travel.
