My name is Jess Colonero and the proud wife to Joe and mom to Lorenzo (7), Charlene (6), and Rocco (2). My family and I first came to Good Shepherd in August of 2017 through the preschool when Enzo was turning 3. Within a few months, after suffering a destructive fire at my husband’s business and being surrounded by the love and support of the Good Shepherd congregants, we were attending church and ultimately committed to become members the following Spring.
I had the pleasure of joining the Good Shepherd Staff as New Member Coordinator and Early Childhood Coordinator in the Children’s Ministry for about three years before transitioning to my current role as Head of School at a local Montessori campus. I have thoroughly enjoyed serving at VBS, Sparks, and at various church events over the years like Trunk or Treat and The Egg Thing. I am filled with so much hope for the future of Good Shepherd, and I am so excited to be a part of this rebuilding process. I look forward to seeing how God works through me to serve our amazing church and to grow closer to Him throughout this process!
