Blessed Beginnings
Baptism is an important Sacrament and our goal is to encourage, inspire, and partner with you as you invest in this faith journey!
What is Blessed Beginnings? Prior to your child’s Baptism at Good Shepherd, parents or guardians attend a two-session Blessed Beginnings small group.
During these two weeks, your small group will focus on understanding baptism, deepening the relationship with God and marriage (or significant relationship), and partnering together with the church through Children’s Ministries.
This small group opportunity will inspire parents to raise their child(ren) to know Jesus Christ as their best friend and Savior.
We know that you, as parents, are going to have the strongest impact on your child’s faith, and we’re excited to begin this faith partnership with you so faith-at-home can be intentional and supported by your church!
Baptism dates for children can be requested when you enroll for Blessed Beginnings. 2023 registrations are now open! Register for April’s Blessed Beginnings.
If you have questions about Blessed Beginnings, please contact Lily Raineri, our Children’s Ministry Coordinator.
Baptism for Adults
For adults who are considering baptism, we invite you to contact us and make an appointment with a pastor! We are eager to answer any questions you have about the Sacrament and your walk with Christ.
If you have any questions or would like more information, please contact us.
