OVERVIEW & PURPOSE OF ROOTS - A MENTORSHIP JOURNEY
Branching from the Young Adult Ministries (YAM) at Good Shepherd, Roots is a year-long mentorship journey for young adults to explore their identity, belonging, and purpose with a trusted mentor. There are countless times in scripture in which one is called to build up one another in love (Proverbs 18:24, 1 Peter 5:1-5, Hebrews 10:24, Titus 2:1-7, Mark 4:1-20). It is Roots’ vision to see young disciples to live out the gospel full of grace, love, and mission as exemplified by Christ. This can be accomplished by a mentor cultivating rich soil for a mentee’s roots to be laid upon following Him (Mark 4:1-20, Colossians 2:7). Interested in becoming a mentee? Email us below! We'd love to meet you and help you begin in mentorship.SEEKING MENTORS
We're currently seeking mentors with a heart to walk alongside a young adult (i.e. college student, young professional, young married) in discipleship. If that's you, we'd love to meet you!HELPFUL LINKS
