Pastor Greg serves as a Co-Senior Pastor at Good Shepherd. His education includes undergraduate studies at Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pennsylvania, The Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia, and his doctoral studies at Drew University in Madison, New Jersey. He has served as pastor to three other congregations, all in Pennsylvania. His work at Good Shepherd began in 1995.
With a global heart for missions, Pastor Greg is active in bringing God's love to the people of Kenya and Uganda in Eastern Africa and to the Central American Country of Guatemala. In 2012, Greg and his family started a non-profit organization known as "4:13," which helps children globally move from poverty to possibility.
Give Greg a book, a beach, some music, a few miles to run, time with his family, and some major challenges to conquer and all will be well in his world. Because of his love of running, in 2016 Greg partnered with Team World Vision (along with many other Good Shepherd friends) and ran the Chicago Marathon, helping to raise significant funds for clean water for children in Africa.
Originally from the suburban region of Philadelphia, Pastor Greg and his wife, IdaLynn, have three grown children, Dan, Halie, and Greg.
