Greg Wenhold
Support Staff Pastor
After serving as Senior Pastor at Good Shepherd for over 23 years, retiring 5 years ago and moving to Arizona, Pastor Greg has returned to the Naperville area. At the request of Pastor Tara Beth, Pastor Greg has returned to the Good Shepherd Staff to provide support to our pastoral ministry. His work at Good Shepherd began in 1995.
With a global heart for missions, Pastor Greg is active in bringing God's love to the people of Kenya in Eastern Africa and to the Central American Country of Guatemala. In 2012, Greg and his family started a non-profit organization known as "4:13," which helps children globally move from poverty to possibility.
Give Greg a book, a beach, some music, time with his family (especially his grandson), and some major challenges to conquer and all will be well in his world. Originally from the suburban region of Philadelphia, Pastor Greg and his wife, IdaLynn, have three grown children, Dan, Halie, and Greg.
