Because of the many generous donations to Gifts from the Heart in December, we recently sent a large shipment of personal care supplies to Re-Member, our mission partner in South Dakota.

Items such as shampoo, toothpaste, deodorant, diapers, baby wipes, razors, combs, and brushes will be distributed to the Oglala Lakota people living at the Pine Ridge Reservation. These supplies are in great demand since the reservation is on lockdown due to the COVID virus and can not accept the normal contributions of Re-Member’s volunteers.

The wisdom of the elders tells us, “You’ve never really lived until you’ve done something for someone who can never repay you.” Thanks to the congregation for living large!! Another example of small ways to make a BIG impact in the lives of others!
