Throughout Faithwalk Journey, our Confirmation program at Good Shepherd, our confirmands and their families have been exploring the Story of God together in small groups, family studies at home, the Delta Retreat, and many experiential moments of worship, serving, and more.

Our formal journey for Confirmation starts in September and ends with special services in April. Last Saturday, April 22, we held two services, inviting 47 confirmands to affirm their baptisms in the presence of their parents, siblings, and extended families. In preparation, our confirmands processed how God’s Story has impacted their stories by creating Faith Expressions that were displayed through the building as part of the celebration. The faith stories of our confirmands are so beautiful! We marked this significant Confirmation moment, celebrating the truth that God has helped them reach this point in their faith journey and affirming their commitment to continue to trust God with the future. We praise God for how He has been at work in each and every one of our confirmands and we look forward to seeing the ways the Spirit continues to be at work in their lives as members of the Church!
