I have been a member of GSC for 13 years and have lived in Naperville for over 20 years. I’ve been happily married to Linda for 33 years, and we have a beautiful son, Eric.
My background is Geology, in which I have degrees from Augustana College and Northern Illinois University.
Three years ago I retired from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, where for 32 years I managed hazardous waste cleanup projects throughout the central Midwest. I’ve grown up in a loving home with Christian parents. Over the past 64 years my experiences with secular academia, interaction with the public, legal negotiations, meeting a variety of people and raising a special needs child have tested my faith.
However, these trials have strengthened my faith in our rock of salvation – our Lord Jesus Christ. I’m convinced of the truthfulness of God’s promises and teachings as set forth in His holy scriptures.
My love and gratitude for what my Savior has done for me makes me eager to serve Him, and I look forward to the Holy Spirit allowing me to discern our next Associate Pastor!
