Elisabeth Lectka
Student Minister
Hi, my name is Elisabeth Lectka!
I began working at Good Shepherd as the Middle School Ministry Leader and currently lead our Student Ministries. I studied Organizational Communication and Leadership at Butler University in Indianapolis, IN. I am currently pursuing my Master of Divinity at Northern Seminary in Lisle, IL, and I'm hoping to finish in 2025!
I grew up at Good Shepherd and was heavily involved in the high school ministry as a student. While I thought my future might be in pharmacy, during college God revealed to me that he had other plans! After various experiences in youth and young adult ministry in college and in Berlin, Germany, I joined the Good Shepherd staff in 2017.
My husband and I were married in January of 2021 (pandemic wedding!). We live in Aurora, IL with our Golden Retriever, Charlie. In my free time, you'll find me running, cooking, reading, and traveling!
I have a deep love for this community and am passionate about getting people connected at Good Shepherd. My door is always open, especially if you're bringing a chai latte!
