Missional Engagement Executive Minister
I first joined our staff in 2008 as Worship Development Coordinator. For over ten years, I worked side by side with our Worship Directors and Pastors to coordinate all aspects of worship and volunteers. My favorite part of this role was building relationships and connecting others to meaningful ways to serve in Worship at Good Shepherd! In 2019 I accepted the newly created role of, then titled, Mission Director. I feel so blessed to be in this role! I LOVE leading Missions and providing opportunities for our church to be God's Love in action to our community and world! I am anxious to connect with you and share all the exciting ways to serve alongside our team with outreach and missions.
Before Good Shepherd, I spent 16 years at a large travel wholesaler. My last role there was Director of Training and Development.
I currently live in Aurora with my husband of 33 years, Dan. We have one adult son who lives and works in Chicago. Although Dan, Daniel, and I have been on a total of 13 missions trips with Good Shepherd, we have never been on one together! This is still on our bucket list to do as a family!
Good Shepherd has been an important part of our lives for over 22 years! I can't imagine being anywhere else; this is my extended family!
