Coronavirus Updates
Across All Ministries & Events
March 1, 2022
Beginning Monday, February 28, masking will be recommended, but not required, for those in our building. As of Tuesday, March 1, this includes all entering Good Shepherd Lutheran Preschool.
We ask that all are respectful of an individual’s personal decision to wear a mask or not. Free masks are available at the Connect Center.
We will keep you updated in this evolving environment. Join us in praying for our congregation and for those impacted by the pandemic.
GOVERNMENT GUIDELINES. We are using public health guidance, metrics, and recommendations to lead our re-opening discussions and to advise our teams to execute plans.
FLEXIBILITY. Please be advised that the COVID-19 pandemic is a fluid situation. Dates and plans may have to change according to government guidelines or situations in our community.
MINISTRIES. Even though the building has opened, please note that not all ministries have resumed at the same time (i.g. The Cornerstone Café is open on Sundays only until further notice).
COMMUNICATIONS. We are committed to keeping the congregation informed, so please make sure to check our website regularly for updates.
If you would like more information, feel free to reach out to the committee at reopen@goodshepherd-naperville.org.
Though the pandemic has caused many of us to be physically apart, we believe that God has been using this time to challenge, shape, and connect us in new ways, as well as to reach even more people with the gospel. Thank you for your partnership and prayers as we adjust to the new normal.
